After breakfast, venture to a nearby oxbow lake by canoe. This tranquil ecosystem is home to giant river otters, hoatzins, black caimans, and a wide variety of bird species.

Day 3 – Parrot & Macaw Clay Lick + Deep Rainforest Experience

An early start takes you to a parrot or macaw clay lick (season-dependent), where dozens of colorful birds gather to feed on mineral-rich clay, one of the most iconic wildlife spectacles in the Peruvian Amazon.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and later continue exploring deeper rainforest trails. Learn about conservation projects, sustainable tourism initiatives, and the unique ecology of Tambopata National Reserve.

In the afternoon, choose between additional guided hikes, cultural interpretation experiences, or relaxation at the lodge.
