Cusco and the Sacred Valley experience two main seasons:
- Dry season (April to October): Sunny days, cold nights (17–20°C / 62–68°F daytime; ~5°C / 41°F nights)
- Green season (November to March): Lush landscapes with occasional rain (average 13°C / 56°F).
Weather can be unpredictable in the Andes, so always pack layers for both sun and rain.

                      How to get there?

All international flights to Peru arrive at Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) in Lima. From there, take a connecting flight to Cusco (CUZ), about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
We recommend arriving in Cusco at least two days before the experience begins to allow for altitude acclimatization.
If your flight to Cusco departs early the next day, consider staying at the Wyndham Costa del Sol Lima Airport or Holiday Inn Lima Airport to simplify connections.

                      Travel insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for all our adventures and you’ll need to share your policy details before departure. Your cover must include overseas medical treatment, emergency evacuation/repatriation, baggage and equipment, plus all the activities in your itinerary.
We also strongly recommend cancellation and curtailment cover in case illness or other unforeseen events prevent you from travelling.
Standard policies often exclude adventure activities, so please check the fine print. Many travelers choose World Nomads for adventure, focused protection, select the policy that fits your needs and fully covers your trip.
