How many days is the climb?

The standard itinerary takes 3 to 4 days, including approach, acclimatization, and summit attempt. Some choose to combine it with acclimatization hikes beforehand.

Yes. It’s considered a non-technical peak (F+/PD-) with gradual slopes and some glacier travel. It’s ideal for physically fit hikers looking to try high-altitude
mountaineering with crampons and ice axe for the first time.

What’s the elevation gain?

The climb starts from Cebollapampa (3,900 m), with a base camp at around 4,650 m and a summit push
from high camp (4,900 m). The summit day involves about 850 meters of elevation gain.
